Mission Statement:

Beta Alpha Psi is a not-for-profit international honor and service organization for accounting, finance and information systems students at AACSB- or EQUIS-accredited universities. Beta Alpha Psi provides opportunities for development of technical and professional skills to complement university  education; participation in community service; and  interaction among students, faculty and professionals.

What is Beta Alpha Psi?

Beta Alpha Psi is a national honors and professional organization for students majoring in accounting.  As a premiere professional business organization, Beta Alpha Psi recognizes academic excellence and complements members’ formal education by providing interaction and networking among students, faculty, and professionals. Our aim is to interact with, and learn from, professionals throughout the year, commit our time to service in the community, and enjoy each other’s company through social events and networking opportunities.  As an organization, we are nationally recognized and respected by the business community. The reputation of Beta Alpha Psi can open doors to outstanding career opportunities after graduation.

 

The aim of Beta Alpha Psi is to foster lifelong growth, service and ethical conduct.  The purposes of Beta Alpha Psi are:

 

  1. to recognize and promote outstanding academic achievements in the fields of accounting, finance, and information systems.
  2. to promote the study and practice of professional fields related to these disciplines.
  3. to provide self-development opportunities and association among members and practicing financial professionals.
  4. to encourage a sense of ethical, social, and public responsibilities.
  5. to enhance and complement the college experience.
